Michele's Story
Life
Well, where do I begin? Let's just say I moved to Garfield Heights after I got married in 1985. I had my daughter in 1986, then a son in 1990. I moved to Arizona for 18 months in 1994. Then came back to Ohio and back to my house in Garfield Hts--we rented it out to my sister in law for the time we were in AZ. We moved to Dallas, TX in 1997. Divorced in 1999. Left Dallas and moved to Japan for one year 2005-2006. Came back from Japan and now I live in Maryland with my 2 dogs. My daughter (23 yo) lives in CT. My son (18 yo)lives with his dad in Dallas.
My parents moved from their house in Parma, and have a house out in the country, in Medina, Ohio. Both are doing well. My sister has 2 kids, one of each.

Workplace
I am still in the cube--didn't make it into the real office yet. But I did go from a contract job to the corporate office. I have changed jobs about once a year. Always for more money. Hey--I don't have someone to take care of me.
I love the job that I have now. I am working in Japan at a US military base. I love Japan. This is my second time here. And no I have not joined the militray forces.
My title is Inpatient Coder. The company has contracts with the Department of Defense and staffs many of the military installations with medical personnel. My job has little to do with that part of the company. What I do is code inpatient medical records. I make sure what the doctor (military doctor) documents is what gets billed to the insurance company.
