Michele's Story
I"retired" from the State of Florida in April 08 after 16 years of working as a Purchasing Agent /Contracts Administrator. I spent 10 years with the Department of Corrections and 6 years with the Southwest Florida Water Management District. I enjoyed my job (plus great money), but it was no longer rewarding. career - nursing. I have just been accepted into the nursing program at Pasco-Hernando Community College where I will begin class in August. Nursing will allow me to spend much more time with my husband of eleven years and my two young children. It will also provide me with the opportunity to give back to others.
Right now I am enjoying my 4 month vacation which will end in August with a week long trip to the Disney theme parks and hotel before my kids and I go back to school.
