Michelle's Story
Life
Straight out of high school I attended CSULB. I got married in 1996 after dating my husband for 4 years. We then moved to South Orange County and bought a house. In November 1998 I gave birth to my son, Ryan. I was fortunate enough to take the first year off to stay home with him. I am now working as a Director of HR for a global manufacturing company and living in the Greater Los Angeles area. Would love to hear from Western Grads!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mark Rollins, because to this day he still knows me better than anyone..
I'm a college football fan and love to follow the BCS standings each year and then find the flaws in such system of rankings.

d from my kids that the things I did in high school were so innocent compared to what things go on these days, and in today's world it's even happening earlier.
My passion in life these days is my job. I get everything you could ever want from doing what I do and for the company I do it for.... I get appreciation, meaning, I feel valued, I am a mentor, I am respected.... I enjoy going to work and giving back. I travel, I get flexibility to have a life other than work, and I love the people I work with.
My first job was at JC Penney, where I got paid $4.25 an hour to fold towels and ring up customer orders. What I remember most about it is that I worked with my best friend Andrea and made working fun and social.
