Michelle's Story
I graduated in 1980, tried my hand at Cerritos College out of high school, but my heart wasn't really in it. I have worked a variety of jobs since high school, but by trade I am a Safety Manager, training people how to do their job safely. Currently though, I am working as a Credit Analyst.
I did finally get a degree, it took a long time, but in May 2006 I got my Associate of Science degree in Environmental Technology from Fullerton College. I am currently working on my 2nd AA level degree. I will be graduating May 2008 with an Associate of Arts from Cerritos College in Administration of Justice. I am also curre...Expand for more

I am a Volunteer for Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department and have over 2500 hours in and over 7 years. I love every minute of it.
I still keep in touch with some of my old neighbors that I went to Gahr with and some of them went to Cerritos High School. Most of them, as well as me, and my brother (Cerritos HS 1976) and my sister (Cerritos/Gahr HS 1978) are totally different people today than we were back then. I am totally amazed when I meet old high school friends, how different they actually are.
