Michelle's Story

Life Those who knew me in highschool will not be surprised to know that I hated it. I got over it. *grins* I now work for an online e-zine as a journalist, travel the country reviewing sites, events, and conducting interviews, go to Europe once a year, follow a certain Industrial band in Europe, and in the US when they tour, and have a penchant for platform boots. I'm also a writer in my personal life. No children, not missing them, but two pets who have faith in their convictions that they are human and worthy of food from the table. I'm a net fiend, and can often be found on Y!M along with my friends from across the globe. I am so far from the person I once was, and yet I have never thought I would end up as who I am. I am content, but striving for more in my personal and professional life. I miss the simplicity of my youth, but then I recall that nothing ever seemed simple to the bookish little me. Life has been *SO* interesting so far...drop me a line to hear more. I guess should include that I live in California now with my love and the pets - this is where I practice most of my journalism although it allows me travel. My hair is long and straight and down to my butt, but if you think I look like a berkeley hippie girl, you are sadly mistaken. Elvira...mebbe...Berkeley Journalism - yep, that's me. Family is all well, if fairly scattered around the country - Mom in southeastern Wisconsin, Dad and Maggie in the Middle of Wiscosnin, and Becky and husband Chad are in Northern Wisconsin - well, snow line WI - Sheboygan! Grandma is now in North Carolina as are Pat and Bernie and my ousins, Eddie and Sean who are the most precocious intelligent, outrageous things. I love them dearly. Found Kate off this thing - love you Kate. And Tom - love you too, Tom you dork and your goofy son. And Len, although our politics tend to make that a little sticky - but I adore him anyway. AND JOEL, if i can ever find him again, damned war. But if you were someone I knew, please reach out - you and I may not be the people we once were, but we really may enjoy who we both now have become. Oh. And Considering going to Australia for a week of dental work. How's that for odd news of the bizzare... School Oh Lord - highschool was such an uncomfortable time for me. I was not terribly socially adept, and I didn't much care to be, too busy hiding in oversized clothes or partying my ass off with people I never should've hung around with. I mi...Expand for more
ss Dan Z. I wish I had just played the game and gotten along in highshcool - who knows how things might've turned out. Then again, it's been a long strange trip and look at all the people and places and things I would've missed along the way had I played it the way the "mainstream" told me. I wasn't as horrible as everyone thought I was, or that I allowed people to think I was. I was pretty introspective more than folks know. Sneaking out of the house to walk down to Ma Fischers to have coffee and talk philosophy until the sun came up...those were the things that really made me feel alive. Where the hell is Chris LeNoir? If anyone knows (Tom), would you please tell me??? I need to see how THAT boy turned out. Did I ever think i would be writing for a living? Yes. Did I think it would involve the subject matters it does - not specifically, no, but I am enjoying it and becoming more of an activist each day. I thought there would be cottage on the Irish coast with tea and storms outside...now it's the West coast, with coffee and the fog...life is good. Better than I thought I would ever have. College Hahahahaha....HHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.... No seriously....hahahahahahaha..... Again, I was not a traditionalist. Did you guess that? Ask for the story... Workplace Holy cow. First job was in an office at 16. Since then I've waited tables, slung drinks, worked in real estate, grocery stores, software development, marketing departments, acting troupes, proposal development departments for multi-million dollar corporations, and now I write about sex. No, seriously. I do. I am an activist - I am pro sex, pro lifestyles, pro-kink, pro pervs and pro anything that makes you happy as long as you and your partner are conserting and enjoying one another. I LOVE my job. Except I call it Erotica, and not PRON. But everyone's take on sex is different and one simple question will get you seven million different answers. Am I a porn star? *snort* The farthest thing from it, honey. I write about sex. I write about lives. I write about what activists are doing. I write about what turns people on, I write about leather and latex and love and marriages and all kinds of things. They won't let me show a url so write to ask me for one - see if you can guess who is me. Psuedonym and all. I welcome ALL comments. And Ron Jeremy is a B*TCH, and I tell him so all the time. But his new book is really good, so check it out.
