Life
First off - our CD is now on-line. Go to CDBaby and buy it by searching 'Truckstop'. The name of the CD is On The Run. We're also on iTunes, Napster, etc.
Michelle and I met at a frat party.
We have a 19 year old daughter--Bronwyn, a 10 year old son--CJ, a 9 year old daughter -- Katie, a 6 year old son -- Jake, and a 1 year old son -- Joe.
Michelle is Lt Col on active duty in the AF. I'm the Principal of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach CA.
We are really enjoying the beach culture and the wonderful weather. Contact us if you're coming out to L.A. Our place can be a place to stay for friends and family who want to come out and enjoy the L.A. attractions.
School
Biggest crush? Lauren Steeley -- hands down. She was nice to me in that pity sort of way. Inspirational teacher? I don't remember being inspired, but Mr. Ritchey, secretly, was my favorite teacher. It was much more en vogue to like Hunt, Rush, Brinkley, or Daniels, but quietly I thought Ritchey was great. Do it all over again? Yeah, I'd do it all over again, and I wouldn't be such a jerk. Happiest moment? -- hard to say. Funniest? -- Coach David for sure, I can still imitate him dead pan. I was a basketball coach for a while, a...Expand for more
nd I used to lapse into Coach David when I was mad. Craziest memory from school? -- stealing that Indian on wheels from the band...
College
I never had a 'unique' roomate, but Chad May and I pulled many sunflower seed and Dr. Pepper all nighters for final exams, then we'd stay up all night playing Nintendo on a fifteen foot projection screen in the building we worked in.
Senior year? Student Government. Russell, Brian, Brooke, Trent, and I were running things!.
Workplace
I've had every job imaginable. Congressional intern, mail courier, meat cutter in a BBQ restaurant, insurance salesman, bi-lingual counselor in a battered women's shelter. I've made doors, cleaned bedpans in an old folks home, been in the Army, worked as an audio/visual technician, been a kitchen manager/assistant manager/bar manager (three different restaurants)in a Mexican restaurant, repossessed cars, waited tables, bussed tables, substitute teacher, high school spanish teacher, high school JROTC teacher, tennis coach, football coach, and basketball coach, High School Vice-Principal, and Assistant Principal. Currently I am the principal at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Military
Too many stories to recount here. I was a 97E4HL. That's Interrogator, spanish speaking, level four (for going to ANCOC), instructor qualified. Got out in 1998 after 9 years as a staff sergeant.
