Michelle's Story
Life
After high school, I went to college at Louisiana Tech majoring in zoology, then to Medical School at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I completed my pediatric residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona in june of 2000 (finally!) and joined my amazing husband, George Barajaz, in San Antonio and began doing contract work with the military. 2002 and she is, of course, the apple of our eyes. We made our next move to Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2002 and I have been working part time in private pediatric practice since then. Our latest news is that we are expecting our second child (a boy-we like to call him our little post-Afghanistan gift) in June and will likely be relocating again sometime this year, although we don't know where yet. Hope everyone is doing well and I'd love to hear from you!
