Michelle's Story
Life
Well, I've finally settled down. After WAHS, I got my BS in math, then went to DSL for a law degree. I moved to Dallas, TX in August of 1994, passed the PA bar, failed the TX bar, lost my law job, worked at a movie theater (loved it), then passed the TX bar and decided I didn't want to practice law again. I then worked as a bookkeeper/office manager for six corporations. After a while there, I got a job at a Big Five accounting firm, KPMG, in Dallas and worked three months there AND as an assistant manager at a movie theater. at KPMG (pay was a little better). :-) After two years there, I transferred to the NYC office. At the end of October 2001, they closed my department and I transferred to their Long Island office, which was closer to where I lived.
I got married in December 2006 and my husband and I have six children of the four-legged variety. I quit my job as a prisoner paralegal with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Scranton in March of 2007. My husband, Mike, has allowed me to retire from the full-time workforce. We're starting our own business, to include an eBay store (Frantz/McCabe Stuff and Things).
