Michelle's Story
I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have quiet, coffee, and independence to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Larry Crabbs, because he was good to me.

My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely almost right.
My best friend would tell you I'm wonderful, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as mean.
No way. I wear religiously mandated clothing now.
I share my home with my daughter, which I find needs constant cleaning.
My first job was at SIUE Dental School, where I got paid very little to scrap goo off of the floor. What I remember most about it is it was disgusting.
