Michelle's Story
Life
Life has been strange! In 2000 I found my biological family, and although my parents were not thrilled life goes on. I have 2 brothers who I just adore, I am the eldest of 3. (and the shortest) I am pretty lucky in the respect that my parents actually married, which made looking easier. I had lots of help since I was in the UK at the time. And yet my parents also divorced. Do I look portugese? My mother is Portugese American, and I look like her although I am blonde with blue eyes.
Been following my family tree, and most of my family came out of Kentucky. Which explains one issue; when in the military people always said I sounded like I was from OHIO. I have a 4 year old TODDLER MONSTER, who is great, and is getting to know his other family. Although explaining the 3 sets of grandparents will probably confuse him.
Currently living in TN so that I can get to know family. Although this is a risky move by biological standards it has been good. We live near Bristol TN and since NASCAR is in my husbands vocabulary, my brother finally has someone to go to the races with when he can get tickets.

oking for work and TN is not the best place when you have a degree in Computers. Work is very limited and the VA is kind of at a loss here. We had not planned to move to TN until we got stationed back in MT. Oh well!
College
Considering it took me 4 schools to get an associates and Bachelors the fun was the craziness of moving around and getting into a new school. Not to mention I never wanted to go to college but the military had an influence, not to mention the brow beating from my dad. I did it for him and although biologically speaking I am the only one in my family with a degree. Trying to go to school and working 12's in the military made life interesting. But I have 2 degrees that showed I have done something with my life even though they don't mean a whole lot now adays. FOR MY DAD who died in 2004!!!!!
Military
Lifes lessons were taught to me and it made me a much better person. Not to mention the opportunities I got to travel to overseas places. Like England where they drive on the wrong side of the road. My friendships that I made will last forever and I will miss being with all those I partied with.
