Michelle's Story
It's funny how you imagine your life when you are a kid and what actually happens. I wanted to be a police detective when I was younger. I wanted a huge family with 5 or 6 kids. Instead, I did a few years of college, got married, traveled as an Air Force wife, and had two awesome boys. I seemed to have found my niche working in HR for a clinical research organization (CRO). re in our late teens. My boys are 14yrs (Timothy) and 12yrs (Josiah) old and doing really well in school and Tae Kwon Do. The four of us are one big unconventional family. I grew up very conservatively and now I raise my sons to be more liberal than I ever was and to always keep an open mind. I am proud to be raising kids that will not automatically label or "shoebox" anyone based on their lifestyle, religion, or views. We live in Raleigh, NC - the number one place to move to nationally right now!
