Life Well, I didn't waste any time getting married - right after my first year as an interior design student in Long Beach,CA. Married my college professor, no less! Had 2 kids (boy & girl) by the time I was 23 and had a blast hanging out with them and working in my husband's law office for a while. Never did the design thing as it turned out. Instead, I eventually got my real estate license, worked as a commercial RE agent for a few years, then moved into property management. Had the most fun managing a mixed-use high rise on Bunker Hill in LA. In my personal life, marriage was great for the first 5 yrs but we eventually divorced after 9 yrs. (long, insane story there) Life goes on... Was a single mom for a while (with teenagers!) then got remarried at 38. I had a NEW baby girl at 39, and now that I'm 43 with a 4 yr old, I realize what a crazy idea that was. But, it's crazy in a happy sort of way. Life is really good. After being a working mom for years, I decided the way to go was to stay home (most of the time) with my new baby. Turning out great, too. She is such a cool kid and the joy of our lives.
