Michelle's Story
I began working at Bearing Specialty Co. on Richards Blvd after high school. At different times I worked with our classmates, Jack Knight, Danny Monical, and Tim Donavan and my good friend Bruce Olvera. I worked for them in Fresno, Visalia and then moved to Portlalnd, Oregon to work for a competitor. After 8 years in Portland I returned to West Sacramento and married our classmate Stan Gordon.
Stan and I had 2 children Nicholas and Max and moved to Etna California in 1991. We lived in the beautiful Scott Valley in Siskiyou County, Ca. for 13 years. In 2004 we moved to Ashland, Oregon, where we continue to live. Stan is a lineman for Pacific Power and Light in Medford, Or. We love living in Rogue Valley and especially Ashland. We come to Sacramento often to visit our friends and watch our son Max play baseball for Sierra College. Tragically we lost our son Nick when our sons were in a car accident on the way home from snowboarding at Mount Bachelor. Life goes on, though not as bright. We are grateful that our son Max survived his injuries. I am now working in the Counseling Office at Ashland High School.

The Country Music Assc. Festival is happening too!!!! Going to see Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert !!!
Update 9/17/2014
We had a fantastic time in Nashville! We have since watched many more baseball games, traveling to wherever the PAC 12 play. In Max's senior year the Beavers went to the College World Series in Omaha! We ended up 4th place nationally. What a ride for a great bunch of young men! If you're a Giants fan, the catcher Andrew Susac played with Max his first year at OSU. GO GIANTS! GO BEAVS!
Max is now helping to coach at Feather River Community College in Quincy. My Mom is with us at 95 1/2 years old and still hanging in there. Stan is now retired due to a bad shoulder, so we'll be traveling more and visiting in Sacramento more often. We hope to see you in our travels.
