Michelle's Story
After High School I started working at Prudential Insurance Company and was there for 5 years. Was married in 1987 and had my first child (Jeremy now 17-1/2) 1990. We moved in 1991 to Bend, Oregon where I still currently live. I stayed home for a couple of years, but then took a job for a Lumber Wholesale Company working as their Receptionist. I worked for them for 15 years and worked my way up to Office Manger for the last 10 years. I just recently retired this past summer. In 1996 I had my second child (Alyssa will be 12 in Mar). Unfortunately I went through a divorce in 2000 . The kids Father lives here in Bend also and we actually have a very good relationship. The year 2003 was both the best and worst year of my life. and also lost my Father. We was an avid snowmobilier and died of a massive heart attack on the mountain one evening in January. We are blessed that he was doing something he enjoyed with all his heart and soul. I am now a stay at home Mom enjoying the last year with my son before he goes off to Oregon State. With my marriage my family grew to two more daughters so we have a full house. We love the out doors and what better place than Central Oregon to enjoy that. We do a lot of snowshoeing in the winter and boating and hiking in the summer. One thing I do miss about Calif. is the warm weather and the beaches. I live about 5 hours from the Oregon Coast and it is always cold there. If anyone is ever in the area, please look me up. It's a great place to come an play.
