Michelle's Story
After graduation I went to U of A in Fayetteville. I majored in Accounting and actually finished in 4 years.
I met my future husband (Fred) in October of my Freshman year and we dated for the next 6 years. We got married in 1994 at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs. Fred is from Eureka so it worked out well for us to get married there.
I worked as an Accountant for poultry companies for the next 12 years. Those companies included Campbell Soup, Excel, and ConAgra. My jobs took us from Fayetteville to the Ft. Smith area, to North Louisiana.
In 2004 I was the Controller for a ConAgra plant in Farmerville, LA when I found out I was pregnant. Fred was working for State Farm and his job was being transferred anyway. I took the opportunity to quit my job and we moved to Birmingham, AL with State Farm.

daughter made us miss AR and our families. In 2006 Fred got the opportunity to transfer with State Farm to Little Rock and we jumped on it. We are now back home in Arkansas and loving it. We live in Cabot (just north of Little Rock) and we are exactly 1 hour away from my Parents. We are only a few hours away from Eureka Springs and Fred's Parents as well.
We've had another big change. On Easter Sunday 2008, I gave birth to twins. Freddie (Jr) and Emily were 6 weeks premature. They had to stay in the NICU for a couple of weeks, but came through just fine. We were shocked when we found out we were having twins. We had just planned to give Ivy a little brother or sister. We ended up giving her both.
I'm going to stay home with the kids as long as I can. I miss working and I'll go back one day, but I love being home with all of them. Time started to fly once we started our family and I don't want to miss any of it.
