Michelle's Story
Life
I grew up in Richmond, VA attending Dumbarton (go Wildcats Running Club!), Brookland and Hermitage. I ran year round (XC, indoor and outdoor track) for high school minus one winter season I "attempted" basketball to mix things up. Since I graduated from the Herm, I studied Public Relations at BYU in Provo, Utah. It was and still is the greatest place on earth! My junior year I got engaged, then left for Ecuador for a semester and volunteered in orphanages. It was quite an experience. Two weeks later I came home and got married to an amazing guy, Kyle Woodbury (April 2003).

College
College was great. BYU is the best place on earth. I graduated in April of 2005 in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I learned so much about myself and life during those 5 years (yeah, took me a little longer to finish). My horizons were expanded and I was humbled in being exposed to the many talents and brilliance of thousands of other people. I tried to make the most of my final semester and took a block snowboarding class which was a BLAST. Once graduation rolled around, I was sad that my experiences at BYU would only be memories. The rewards of getting to stay at home with my children full time now, however, are better than all of those fun memories combined. Now I can take a fun class here and there at the community college in the evenings and not worry about it affecting my GPA. :-)
