Mickie's Story
After High School I went to work for Bank of America. I worked there for 12 years starting at the bottom and moved my way up. I was one of two people to start their Homebanking unit. That was so long ago that very few people owned computers (wow, how the world has changed) so we didn't have many customers to start. Before I left, the department had grown to over 200 people of which I managed the customer service, systems, and data entry unit. I met my husband while working there and after dating for 4 years we got married.
For those who are interested in the rest of my family hear is a run-down. My parents are in their 70's and in great health, I spend a lot of time with them both. ry (Oceana alumni) and they have 3 children. My brother Kevin, still in Pacifica, has 3 children. My youngest brother Gary is married lives in San Jose and has two children.
Life is Good! Now I live in San Mateo with my husband and two children. Spend most of my time doing things with or for my kids. We get away as often as possible, to my ranch in lake county, where I relax, fish, go to car races, and ride our dirt bikes & quads. Always enjoy visiting my mom in Pacifica, and always take my drive by the ocean! Memories, memories, memories! I'm lucky and have been a stay at home mom for 15 years, but I miss the corporate world where you get a coffee and lunch break, and have adults to talk with. Very involved at Hillsdale High School where my daughter attends and that keeps me busy.
