Mike Arendall:  

I attended SFA, at Nacogdoches, TX, as a forestry major, for several semesters before transfering to SWTSU, at San Marcos, TX where I changed majors, and graduated with a BBA in December 1977. I entered the MBA program at SWT shortly after graduating, but lost interest and accepted a job with the TABC, as an auditor, and moved to Lubbock, TX for several years. I returned to Austin, shortly after leaving the TABC and went to work with the Federal government, for a couple of years before returning to the State, accepting a position with the Texas Department of Insurance in July 1984. I've been with state for approx 29 years and TDI for close to 26 years, and love my work and the people that I work with each day - greatest part of my job. I've held a number of technical and management positions, and currently I'm an Assistant Chief Analyst in the Financial Program.
