Mike's Story
Hello to all the friends I've encountered over the years. Friends and family are life's greatest gift.
For those who care, I now live in Vancouver, WA. I married my Huntington Beach H.S. sweetheart, NOREEN (NORTON) a couple of years after H.S. Many of you will no doubt remember her. We both graduated from HBHS in 1966. I am sorry to report that she passed away in late 2005. She was the light of my life and loved by all who ever knew her.
After graduating from high school, I spent 4 years of sea duty in the U.S. Navy (during...Expand for more
the Vietnam era) as a radar operator. I got to see the world, or at least part of it... like Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore and even Australia... and, of course, Vietnam. We then moved to Oregon where I graduated from Portland State University. I am now retired after 30 years with the U.S. Dept. of Energy. I have two sons, Jason (36) and Thadeus (33) and a granddaughter, Alexis (15).
