ching broadcast journalism at nmsu and have taught at arizona state for the last 20 years. masters in international relations (nmsu) and phd in history (asu). research interests are military history (ww2 vietnam) and mass communication history. teach radio reporting and history of mass comm at asu, and created a senior level course on war and the mass media (history vs hollywood slant). also created a history course on ww2, with focus on how real battles portrayed in film. mainly war in europe and north africa.".
