Mike's Story
After graduating from Mauldin I "attended" USC for a few years and ended up dropping out to support my wife in her pursuit of her degree. She took her first job in Charlotte and after moving here I went back to the Community College here and obtained my Associates Degree in Business Data Processing. We had one child, a daughter named Jennifer Elizabeth, in 1986. Jennifer just recently graduated from UNC Greensboro with her Bachelors degree in English. She is now back in school to get her Masters in Consumer Apparel Retail Studies.
The relationship with my first wife ended in 2003, but that is where the best part begins. About the same time I received an email from a friend of mine in High School (thanks to Classmates) and we started talking to each other and eventually began seein...Expand for more
g each other. She was still in the Greenville area while I was in Charlotte. Over time we decided that this was something worth staying with and this past April 30th we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. My wife's name is Marie Teague. I am now part of a blended family which I love very much. Marie and I enjoy traveling and growing the relationships we have with our family and friends. We are also very committed to our faith in Jesus which was something that I now realize was missing from my life for far too long. There is such comfort in knowing that God is in control and that I don't have to sweat every little detail. Anyway, that's who I am and what I am about now. Hold tight to your beliefs and faith and make the best of the time you have here by helping others.
