Mike's Story
Update - May 2016 Due to full infusion chemo therapy (a nightmare) my tumors shrank by more than 60%. So last November they put me on Chemo tablets...8 per day. Since then I have had no symptoms and my condition has stayed stable...Praise God. Actually I feel perfect. My hair has grown back and I'm up to 185 pounds which is about my weight when I graduated REL HS. Of course there is no cure so I guess I living on borrowed time. But I plan to borrow as much as I can. I want to see my kids grow up. They are now 15 and 12. I probably won't survive until their HS graduation but I'm going to give it my best shot. I'm fighting the good fight. I just wish I wasn't going through it alone. There is much to be said for having a wife to provide TLC. Note - I can also be reached through Facebook at clarksmc. It would be nice to get some more friend requests. God Bless to all. Mike
Update - in April 2015 I was diagnosed with incurable Pancreatic and liver cancer. Things are going fairly well at the moment. Since my diagnoses I have turned to the New Testament and placed my fate in the hands of Christ. I hope people will include me and my family in their prayers. I can be reached at hot mail using clarksmc.

ars working in Europe. As of January 2014 I am a retired Computer Programmer/Analyst at the Austin Automation Center of the federal government. I built a new home and moved in January 2001. On June 29, 2001 my son, Christopher Austin Clark, was born. And on Feb. 24, 2004 my daughter, Paulina Michelle Clark, was born. Christopher and Paulina are the lights of my life. And both have become outstanding baseball players. You can check out their game highlights as well as holiday videos at christopherandpaulinassportspage.shutterfly.com/
College
I graduated from SouthWest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1976.
Military
I was inducted into the Army in May, 1969 and rose to the astounding rank of E-5. I spent a year in Germany. While there I had the brilliant idea to volunteer to go to Viet Nam. A few seconds later my orders arrived and I found myself standing in Long Binh wondering 'what tha hell was I thinking'. In January 1972 I received an Honorable Discharge - WITH A GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL. (Hey, they don't give those to everybody, ya know! (Uh, well actually, maybe they do.).
Retirement - retired January 2014. My plans to move to Corpus Christi were put on hold due to my kids wanting to stay in Austin. I'm considering putting them up for adoption so I can move to CC and go fishing.
