Mike's Story
Mike is from Sappington, Missouri. He is separated. His schools include Lindbergh High School. He later attended Meramec Community College (Commercial Art and Advertising). He works(ed) at Denver Custom Signs, LLC, Any Kinda Sign, self employed.
Mike's interests include Economy, Politics. Music he likes includes 7 Shot Screamers, Jennifer Lopez, Peter Frampton. Books he likes include Reading Christian Fiction, Novels, Fiction. Movies he likes include The BLANK generation Film, Get Smart. TV shows he likes include Fiction, Chandler and Joey, Hollywood Girl.

I never planned on writing. After High School I planned on going to Southwest Missouri State. My friend, Keith and I were going to tear the place up. I let him down. My Dad didn't have faith in me and shot down that dream. He wouldn't help me at all and so I tried plan B. I moved to Miami to live with my brother. I met a girl and got married. That didn't work out I got divorced. I moved back to St. Louis where I met the girl of my dreams, my wife Kathleen.

ems at the time, that was 1986. We married in 1987. I worked as a general manger for 2 FASTSIGNS locations in St. Louis for 7 years then opened Any Kinda Sign. That lasted 10 years.
Tired of being a business owner we moved to the Orlando area in 2007, I took a job selling electric signs and awnings.
In May, 2002 my wife gave me a son, his name, you ask, William, after my Great Grandfather a Missouri State Senator. If you drink in Missouri you can thank me, He was co-writer of the bill to repeal prohibition in Missouri in 1932.
Following in his footsteps I became an Alderman in Fenton in 2003. I gave up my seat in 2006.
In 2006 my wife gave me another son, Breandan, that was Feb 28th.
I have written a novel, the title, "Unlikely Angels" it is being published by Legacy Publishing. You know publishing a book has to be one of the hardest acheivements in the world for a non-celebrity. I liken it to climbing a palm tree, if you ever tried it you would understand, ouch. So ai am very grateful that my work has been acknowledged and will be in print.
