Mike's Story
Life
I've been married 12 years to my wife, Danielle. We met at my fist duty station in Arizona. We have two sons (8 and 5) who were both born in Italy. I've been in the U.S. Air Force for over 13 years and have seen duty all around the world. I've participated in the Bosnia, Kosovo, Southern Watch (Iraq monitoring), Afghanistan, and Iraq (Iraqi Freedom) campaigns. Currently, I'm serving a remote tour in South Korea. Since I've left school, I call Las Vegas home. That's the one spot I've spent the most time over the year...Expand for more
s (on and off for over 10 years). One thing I enjoy about being in the military is all the different people that you meet (military/civillian/foreign). They all provide a vast pool of information that you can learn from bettering you for your life after the military and making you a better person overall. I have fond memories of many people I've met over the years and wish I had kept contact with those people (hindsight is 20-20), but with a military lifestyle everyone moves on and quickly. Maybe this will reopen some doors.
