Mike's Story
Life
Michael J. Freeman is currently a R&D Project Manager at Agilent Technologies' Lightwave Division. Prior to this, he held many different position in R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing at Hewlett-Packard Company. In one of his Manufacturing assignments, he led the consolidation of six Microelectronic Manufacturing operations into one. In this role he effectively utilized Large Group Redesign Principles to accelerate business and process improvements. from U.C. Davis. In 1980 he earned a Master's of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. He has been a manager and leader of organizational change since 1979. For the last several years, he has been guest lecturing at the University of San Francisco, Sonoma State University, and U.C. Berkeley in the areas of strategic planning and organizational change. He has two daughters and lives in Santa Rosa California.
