Mike's Story
Life
Just after high school I joined the "Marines" because I was off to a bad start. I got married while in the service.
After I was discharged I attended DVC to learn more about writing. I always wanted to be a writer, but the only thing I wrote that a publishing company accepted from me was a check for a magazine subscription; but I'm still trying.
My marriage ended after seven years and I'll take the blame for that one. But I did end up with a great son who has become my best friend.
I also went to school for "Project management/estimating" for architectural sheet metal.

I'm still based in Concord, but I'm constantly on the road due to my work. This doesn't bother me because I love to travel.
After being single for a few years I started coaching "City League" football for Concord and met my second wife. That one didn't work out and ended up lasting only three years. (And I won't take the blame for that one) She had three kids when we met. After we separated,two out of three of her kids stayed with me and I brought them up as my own.
So now all I do is consentrate on my work and kids.
Of course there's alot more that has happened in the last thirty years, but this is a brief summary of what my life has been like since high school...
