Mike's Story

Hair today, bald tomorrow. Who would have known? PART ONE: Hey guys, I hope that everyone is doing great. I am so glad that I took the advice of many older family and friends to really enjoy high school, because it was a great time! I still can recall so many great memories of games, classes, crusing, music, and of course good friends. After graduating I worked construction in Riverside and met a girl. We ended up getting married, having a beautiful daughter and a handsome son, and buying a house in Pomona. Unfortunatly we ended up in divorce after 7 years. My daughter is now 17 and will be a senior this year. She is beautiful, smart, and very outgoing. My son is now 10 and going into 5th grade. He is handsome, smart, and very caring. We live in Chino and love the outdoors. Fishing, camping, mini-bikes, and anything else as long as were outside. For the last 10 years I have been in sales selling after market chrome engine parts for older Camaros, Mustangs, and Corvettes. Its the perfect job for a car guy and I love going to work everyday. After growing up Catholic for 18 years, I became a born-again Christian and now have a best friend in Jesus Christ. I teach Sunday School to 4 & 5 year olds and am involved in a mens bible study group. Life has never been better. Last year I met the my soul mate at a Christian roller skating night and we will be married later this year. We get along so very well and I am so blessed to have her in my life. She has 3 wonderful children of her own and we are a perfit fit for eachother. Thats it for now. I believe life is what you make of it. Sometimes good things happen, and sometimes bad things happen. We can only control our own actions and not the actions of others. Life is too short for anger, bitterness, and resentment. Live today like its your last, because it very well might be. Tell all your family and friends just how much they mean to you and live with no regrets. Take care and God bless, Mike PART TWO: Hey again, Well its been t...Expand for more
wo long years since I have updated and I am sorry if I have not replied back to any of your messages. Life has been great and very, very busy.I did get married and have been having the time of my life and one day I will write a book about the joys of a blended family! It does take a lot of work, but it is sure worth it. We had an outside wedding that was absolutely beautiful and Katrina looked breathtaking. We took a cruise with all the kids and had a wonderful time. I will never forget the look on the kids faces when they realized that room service was free. Those poor attendants must have come a million times to their room with every kind of food and drink imaginable. With four kids at home, we have a very hectic schedule. With church a few days a week and different sports, we are out every day of the week. But its fun because we try to do everything together. Teens and pre-teens are fun arent they! With a new larger family came the need for more space. We were blessed to find our dream home on a half acre in Norco. Yes Horsetown USA where there are more horses than people believe it or not. The house is 100 years old and does need a lot of work, but it was built great and has so much character that we just fell in love with it. We are just trying to enjoy this life to its fullest. The world is pretty dark and negative and we are just trying to keep our family close and together. Doing our best to put other people first and help out where we can you know. Time permitting, Katrina and I will do our best to start a fundraising company this year called Eternal Concept to help Christian churches, clubs, sports teams and schools with their fundraising needs. Well, thats it for now. I hope that you are in the place that you want to be, if not I pray that you get there soon. God does have a plan for each and every one of us, just sometimes we forget to ask Him which way to go. Remember, God loves you just the way you are, but loves you too much to leave you that way!!! Blessings, Mike
