Mike's Story
Life
After leaving good old VA 75, I ran back to the place I swore I would never return to...Omaha, NE. I came back because of my "girl back home", who I found out was cheating on me (typical Navy story)!
But it was the best thing for me because I went back to school, and met the girl of my dreams, whom I have been married to for 8 great years. We have two children (boy and a girl), and I still live near Omaha (turned out it wasn't all that bad).

vel quite a bit, although I have not been able to get back to lovely Virginia Beach.
While I only spent two years in Virginia, looking back it was the funnest time of my life. Not because I loved the Navy or being away from home, but because of the guys I met and the stuff we did! Whether it was getting drunk in Naples, Italy, or just sitting in the barracks at Oceana, I still have great memories of those times and people. They truly shaped me, and taught me a great deal (including patience).
I hope to talk to, or see many of those guys again someday!
