Mike's Story
Hi Folks! Can't believe it...I stumbled on this Classmates site while trying to find my best friend, David Russell, who lived a few blocks from me in Lake Highlands. I finally did get in touch with him with the help of Jean (Becker) McBride. I've had a whole load of foks send me Classmates Notes to contact them, attach pics, story, etc. I'll get a picture or 2 up sometime soon. I hope to make it to the 2013 reunion and look forward to it. Hope you all will come too.

for a while. Then after working in Dallas at the state Welfare offices for a few years, I married and then moved to Austin. I continued to work for the State until I retired in '99, then went back in '01, and will probably retire again next December from the state Health Dept. I always felt I would return to Dallas, but it never worked out. I have a daughter and son with 3 and 2 kids of their own, son lives here and daughter is in Germany with husband for 3 yrs. He's an Apache helicopter pilot in the Army.
