Life Retired from the Southern Calif Edison Co after 30 years. Moved to Black Forest, Colorado to be near my son and 4 grandsons. We got tired of the cold weather in Colorado. The winter of 2009 was one of the coldest in the last ten years. We made a major move in February of 2009. We sold out and moved to Florida. We now have a small place on a canal a stones throw from the Callosa River. Instead of horses tied up out back there is a 28 foot Sea Ray tied up at the dock. Yea....it burns fuel like crazy and makes a lot of noise. Our new location gives us access to both the Gulf of Mexico and to the Atlantic Ocean. We started our own trucking business in 2004. We have an 18 wheeler and pull a flatbed trailer. We are totally independent operators and work only for the brokers that pay the most. I got into the trucking business quite by accident.
