Mike's Story
During my years in the Air Force I served in Texas, Washington State, Savannah, Ga. and Frankfurt, Germany.
The two years I spent in Germany were some of the best in my life. During the second week in Germany I met a young girl that had left home (Istanbul, Turkey) to go to school and see Europe. The next week I asked her to marry me through an interpreter (just to make sure she understood). It took almost two years to wade through all the paperwork. We were married November 1, 1966. I am now retired. Spent most of my life in the restaurant business in Georgia, Alabama, Chicago and Detroit. Moved 27 times in 42 years. Way too much. We just bought a home in Dacula, Ga and have spent the past months moving, decorating and just settling in. Hopefully this will be my last move.
I like to work around the house, surf the web, read and spend time with my family.
I have been away from Columbus for so many years that I have lost touch with just about everyone that I knew. I long for a reunion where I can see all you guy's once again.
