Mike's Story
Hi there. I went to Middletown Middle from 6th to 8th,
and to Middletown High for 9th and 10th grade.
My family then moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan,
where I graduated from high school in 1983,
and I've lived in the area ever since.
I'm a news writer-announcer for Michigan Radio,
the NPR affiliate at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I've done that ...Expand for more
for 12 (!?) years now.
I just realized it's been 25 years, and I thought, "Middletown. What if?" I hear that a melody I wrote
was performed at the Pops Concert, but I never
heard the performance. What if I had graduated
here, maybe sung at the Pops Concert? What if?
