Mike's Story
Enjoying the bright season's change up here<reds, yellows, oranges>near Fresno(madera) and spending most weekends at Bass Lake in our '5th wheel
on the meadow'. Enjoy reading, hiking, cycling, and even fighting the belly bulge these days. Didn't want to attend 40th reunion but hope some of you would like to correspond.
We're just over an hour from Yosemite National Park/By the way, I'm on Skype so we can reach out to our daughters in Spain and Germany(1 teaching
English, the other finishing college in Berlin). We meet weekly with a small group, studying books and film - currently The Truth Project through Focus on the Famil...Expand for more
y- brings me greater understanding of a variety of things.
Anyone is welcome to visit and have a great time(several kayaks, a large pontoon boat, and every game invented are part and parcel to our adventuring.
Heading to Germany, Italy, and Spain for 2weeks next month(a first time to Europe!). Rick Steves will be our hard and fast literary guide. Blessings to all you survivors of the 60's, you fellow BAbee BOOMERS. Perhaps retirement looms near for some of you lucky souls(prefer bein' busy here).
How to recover serenity:Take kayak out on Bass Lake( in the dark), paddle across with only the lights from neon signs to see by.
