Mike's Story

Joined US Navy in Aug 1961 and left for sunny Calif and never left until 1995. Lived in San Diego until 1969 and moved to Whittier area a suburb of LA until 1995. Moved to Mississippi for 1 yr and then moved back to Ottumwa for 6 Mo before moving to Davenport Iowa. Spent 10 years on active duty in Navy and 18 yr...Expand for more
s in the reserves. Worked as a Ford mechanic for 7yrs then worked for General Telephone for 18yrs. Was an over the road truck driver for 10 yrs before retiring. Now I am very active as a Certified Lay Minister in the United Methodist Church and alot of volunteering for Davenport and Scott County Law Enforcement.
