Mike's Story
For the last 35 Years:
After leaving CP, I went to the Naval Academy. I graduated in 1979.
The first thing the Navy did was send me to graduate school. MS in Physics from Case Western Reserve Univ. in Cleveland OH. Cleveland was a great place to be 22.
My first submarine was the SEAWOLF at Mare Island (Vallejo CA), I actually drove past Sunvalley on my way to work for a while. While in California, I met and married my wife, Francesca and we had our first son, Chris.

ter Mare Island, I went back to the academy to teach for a couple years.
I spent the rest of my navy time on submarines and shore duty based near Seattle WA. My second son was born there.
After 20 years, I retired from the navy and moved to San Jose to work in semiconductors. After a year of the California rat race I moved to Portland Oregon. I am still in semiconductors, just not bumper to bumper traffic at 2 PM on Sunday.
Still married to Francesca, No grandchildren.
