Mike's Story
Life
I am now retired (8 years), but really haven't done too much because of life circumstances. Our camper and fishing boat haven't had as much use as planned, maybe next year. Youngest daughter, Kelli, married, baby boy in April 08, and has her own dance school at Shawnigan Lake Private School. Older daughter, Courtenay, died on the 24th of October 2005 from lymphoma after an eight month battle, healing is slow. ir toll as have resurfaced hips, but having problems with the most recent one. I don't get up to Courtenay much now, but still manage to visit a couple of times a year. I placed a bench at City Hall in memory of my mom since she worked there for a number of years and I always try and grab a burger from George's and stop to eat there.
Spend part of each day teaching myself to play the guitar, just pick since my chording is lousy. Sorry we haven't had a reunion, maybe one year. Kelli hooked me up to Facebook so can be found on there. Hope life is treating you well as we go through these senior years. Mike
