Mike's Story
You may remember ma as the guy with the long hair and hippie type look. I may have looked like I probably did a lot of drugs in high school, I loved the look and the music, but I never did and never have used drugs in my life. I was drafted into US Army in 1970. Lived in Germany for 2 years. I knew Cathy Bell (Madison class of 1970) since elementary school. Married her in 1971. Honorable Discharge from Army in 1973. Started working at Lubrizol Corp. engineering at Lubrizol ever since; 39 years. Might retire an a couple of years or so' but I still love the challenges and rewards of my job. Recently divorced from Cathy after 41 years. First year was the most difficult time of my life. Adjusted to being single now. I'm not saying marriage was bad. We have 2 beautiful children, Todd and Tara, but life is good now. I thank the Lord for my continuing health and prosperity. I enjoy my homes in Ohio and in Florida...I am getting very tired of Cleveland winters so I spend a lot of time in Florida these days.
