This comes straight off of my Facebook page: I take it this where I get to editorialize myself! They say that hindsight is 20/20; well, I cannot say that I would like to relive most of my life over. I've been to a number of places on this planet, but I have to agree with Dorothy in that "there's no place like home." I have had the privilege, as my father and his before him, etc... of having served my nation voluntarily in both war and peace. I am able to say without hesitation just as President John F. Kennedy said, "Any man who may be asked in this century, what he did to make his life worthwhile, can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction, "I served in the United States Navy."
