Mike's Story
College
Diablo Valley College, that place we went to after high school and either before or after work.
That place with more cars than parking spaces. Paying parking tickets became a way of life there if you wanted to attend class.
At the time I was working at Sears, in fact I spent a lot of years at Sears, but that's another story.
I met a lot of friends at DVC, many of which I've lost touch with.

nd Kathy always falling down the steps; the Quad with few chairs and fewer tables; the fantastic Drama Classes; Economics with Mr. Shumway (entertaining lectures but could never pass the exams); Bowling for PE (Fantastic); Mr. Grabowski's classes that put me to sleep and Matt, Sherri and I learned to pass "Hand Mail"; the traffic, the traffic, the traffic.
After DVC I moved on to Cal State-Hayward and went to work at Sears in Hayward.
