Mike's Story
Life
Finished a 22-year Air Force career in Dec 00. Had a chance to travel around the world..had a blast. Work as a Government Contractor in Colorado Springs. Two girls...one is a Junior at the University of Northern Colorado and other is finishing her Sr year of High School.
Military
Two weeks out of High School joined the Air Force and went to basic training in Lackland AFB, Texas. From there received additio...Expand for more
nal traing at Lowery AFB. From 78-81 spent my time at Howard AFB, Panama. Went to the other side of the world and spent 81-82 at Yongsan AG in Seoul Korea. Returned to Colorado from 82-85 and worked in Cheyenne Moutain. Went back to Younsan from 85-87. Settled down and spent 87-94 at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Did 1 year at Tague AB, Korea and ended my Air Force career at Air Force Space Command in Colorado Springs.
