Mike's Story
Life
Peggy and I moved to New Orleans after I graduated from TAMU. We lived there for a couple of years and moved back to Texas. Our son Chris, was born in 1980 while we were in New Orleans.
Peggy started back to school in 1986 and finished at Sam Houston in 1990. She taught school for a number of years but is now "retired". Currently she tutor's at Boy's and Girl's Country.
1999 was a very bad year for us. Our son Chris, died in April. It was devistating, but God sustained us and brought us through that terrible time. He continues to heal us each and every day.

d my career. I am a subsea engineer with BP Exploration, meaning I deal with projects and production equipment that is installed on the seafloor in deep water. We are members at Community of Faith Church. It is a small church but we really like it.
Peggy and I currently live out in the country in Hockley. We have two dogs (Dixie and Maggie), one cat (Bonita), and three horses (Dolly, Red, and Little Joe).
You never know what life will have in store so stay grounded and stay flexible.
School
Nothing real exciting here. I started TAMU in 1973 and quit after the first semester. Peggy and I got married in 1974 and I went back in 1975. Schedule was simple. Work - Study - Work - Study
