I left Irving before graduating. Now living in Richmond, VA. My school experience (Junior High particularly) was something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I was bullied quite a bit (called names, tripped in the hall, last to be picked for teams, and sat alone a lot at lunch). I was somewhat ugly and socially awkward. I was however the class clown so I made people laugh all the time. That humor helped me get through some bad times and I carry it with me today - though today it is healthier and for the right reasons. Regardless of that school experience, there were also many great memories. Teachers that went out of their way to help me and of course that small handful of friends that I bonded with and helped bring some sanity to an otherwise very negative experience.
