Milane's Story

After high school up until 2 years ago I sat behind a desk working in the mortgage industry. It always paid the bills but never really made me happy. After the mortgage company shut its doors, I had the crazy idea of becoming a dog groomer (at 46!) so I went to school. This is the best job I've ever had (but it doesn't pay ...Expand for more
all the bills yet...there's always a catch!). It's not easy and pretty darn physical (especially the big, hairy dogs and the crazy cats) but I love it! I live in Shingle Springs, CA which is about 25 miles east of Sacramento with my husband of 18 years (I got a very late start) and 15 year old daughter who is a Sophomore.
