Mildred's Story

I got married when I was 17. I quit school a month from being a senior. I had my first child in Nov. 1967. Best thing ever happened to me. I have 4 kids and 3 step children now. I also am blessed with 11 grandchildren ages 4-22 yrs old and 3 great grandchildren. I was married to the one I married in high school for 20 yrs. We divorced in 1985 and I remarried to my husband now. In Oct. we will be married 20yrs. My dream ...Expand for more
was to always have lots of children. Since I was seventeen I have 2 bilogical children and 2 adopted. I also since I was seventeen I have taken in 28 foster children. My dream did come true. I am very blessed with my kids which are now 41,39,35,30,28,and 26 and one has passed which she will always be in our hearts. I have now retired from working at the MSC at Texas A&M & was blessed greatly having been around a lot of kids.
