Mina's Story
Life
Mina (Philomena Koury) Martin.
everyone knows me now as Min Martin.
Married 29 years, mostly, happily. I have three daughters, very gifted and beautiful; they should provide sons-in-law and grandchildren before too long. One is still at home and she keeps me young minded - I still remember what it was like to be 18. Sigh. Simpler, gentler times. This Fall, though, the house will be quiet.
Presently I am working from home as a Freelancer and I just accepted a position as a Nursing Home Administrator. My resume' is very eclectic relative to life experiences - like many, I still haven't decided what I really want to be when I grow up.
I am generally content and fulfilled. Sometimes I do wonder what course my life would have taken if I had married my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Paul Jones, who I met at a St. James dance and dated for almost six years. honies and the theater, basically, cultural pursuits in general, and travelling to our timeshare in Grand Cayman and to Caribbean islands. Simple things make me happy: the smell of buttered toast, flowers pushing up through the snow, English Leather after shave!, sponsoring a child in another country, random acts of kindness, White daisies, Disco music, Snowflakes alighting on my jacket sleeve, the feel of a new baby, and the wealth of information at my disposal on the internet.
There are many things I would do differently - and many I wouldn't change for anything. Love and Best Regards to all who knew me or know me, Min
School
Still going to school, racking up classes whenever and wherever I can. I know the Meaning of Life and My Place in the overall scheme of things - but I keep nurturing my brain because I am fascinated by so many things, don't want to miss anything, and feel a bit wiser and better able to contribute positively each time I add something to my repetoire. I am perpetually hungry for more. Knowledge is Power.
College
Same as school bio. I am a lifelong student, I think.
