College
5.5 years at University of Michigan and Ann Arbor in general make for a lot of great memories! Crazy blood battle parties with red rum punch and nightly cemetary/Arb runs with the APO gang notwithstanding, I made it through a BS in Cellular Molecular Biology, and many many hours of working in the labs of Dr. Townsend & Dr. Dixon. Ironically, I only used my degree and lab experience for about 1.5 years after graduating since I switched careers and now work in Software - loving every minute of it too!

re company) but started out as a research assistant at Janssen Pharmaceutical's Ann Arbor, MI lab after college. Then moved to Phoenix, Arizona when it snowed in April in MI. Ended up working for a software startup called SalesLogix which turned out to be the best thing for my career since I found a job I love in Software Product Management! Watched SalesLogix grow to about 650 worldwide and lucked into a nice IPO. Then had the opportunity to move to San Jose, CA to work on the ACT! product (the IPO helped fund a house purchase). When the ACT! office closed due to acquisition, I landed at NetSuite Inc. where I've been for the past 5 years and love every minute.
