Miriam's Story
I worked for 22 years as a Radiographer (x-ray tech) in Tennessee before retiring and returning to the area to help with my parents. My dad is gone now.
I also have adopted 3 of my grandkids who keep me very busy. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. of course they mostly belong to the kids as well as some fish tanks. One of them is currently wanting to add some rodent cages and some other animals.
My husband has been a big help with the kids, that is when I can drag him away from his auto races.
I would say the one thing I have learned is to never say nev...Expand for more
er. Life has a way of making you eat you words. a perfect example when I said I would never have to potty train another child. I forgot about grandkids and sure wasn't expecting them full time.
I have managed some trips around and really enjoy seeing the scenic countryside and historical places. I enjoy geneology and seeing the many connections that I have to historical events. I also enjoy taking walks though a nature area, reading and web searching on the computer. I like to enjoy a new event just to experience what is going on, but not the dare devil kind.
