Misty's Story
Life
It has been a long ten years, so where should I start... after graduation in June 94 the following November 94 I married Tim Belt from Easley. The Following August 95 we had a beautiful daughter named Breeanna. My husband joined the army when she was 2 months old and we packed up and moved to Pensacola Florida. We were there for a year while my husband went to school to become a Combat Photographer (HOOAH). In December 96 we moved to Wiesbaden Germany where we lived for 3 years. While living in Germany we traveled alot throughout Europe (France, Czech Republic, Poland, Holland, England, Belgium and some more I am sure that I am forgetting) right before leaving Germany I found out that I was pregnant (again). They say when you get stationed in Germany you come back with a Cuckoo Clock or a baby, I came back with both :) . In 99 we moved to Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Arizona is beautiful. The Sunsets are like nothing that I have ever seen. I had my son Daniel (he was named after his grandfather) in May 2000. After being in Arizona for 2 years in May 2002 we were told t...Expand for more
hat my husband Tim would have to serve a year in Korea unaccompanied (that means the family couldn't go) ,so I moved back to Easley to stay with my in-laws (who are wonderful) so that they could spend time with their grandkids during the year that he was gone. In May of 2003 he came back and we moved to Fort Meade, Maryland. It is 10 minutes south of Baltimore and 10 minutes north of Washington DC. We had been at Fort Meade for 3 weeks and we were told that my husband yet again had to leave for Afghanistan for 7 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He came home in February 2004 and when he got back he had to have two surgeries on his feet, before we knew it he had to leave for Iraq in February of this year in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He got back November 15, 2005. We are very happy to have him home. On August 21, 2006 I started taking some college classes through the University of Phoenix. I am pursuing an Associates of Arts in Business degree...
Update: My husband recieved orders to Fort McPherson, GA. and we currently live in Stockbridge, GA.
