Debbie's Story
Oct 2021 - We are now grandparents of 6! 3 boys and 3 girls 💙💖
John and I have been married since June of 79. We have two wonderful children Travis and Melissa.
Travis graduated with a BA from Sonoma University, he is currently a vice president of finance. He now lives in Kansas with his family . He and his wife bought a huge new home there. Melissa is a nurse, graduated from the university of Nebraska and is married. She and her family live only a few hours from her brother. They bought a 1910 Victorian house and are working to restoring it to its original beauty. It’s in a small town but not far from Lincoln, NE.

ough to become a stay at home mom. I soon became involved in their schools, the same schools I had attended. Katherine Elementary, Valley View and Simi High. It made for many great memories. They were involved in sports, Travis played football and baseball … go pioneers! and Melissa was a cheerleader at SVHS -at times I did feel like a taxi but I wouldn't change a thing. I went back to work in 1999 and really enjoyed it and retired in 2019.
We are happy and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. - We travel in our motor home and often go to Kansas and Nebraska along the way. We bought a second home in Nebraska and may retire there in a few more years.
I enjoy photography and love taking photos during our travels. I also enjoy taking the train to visit the kids , since John is still working! I can see the countryside and enjoy stops along the way.
