Lindsay's Story
1978 - 1981 Various jobs, various classes
1981 moved to Los Angeles to pursue music career.
1982 -1985 back in Ann Arbor - managed Second Chance/Nectarine Ballroom
1983 Back to Los Angeles
1984 Moved home to help mother with ailing father.
1985 - 1987 formed top 40-Band "The Funatics" with the late Mark Graves on Bass.
1989 - moved to Nashville, TN formed rockin-blues band "Lindsay James & The Boogie Dogs" with awesome studio musicians.
1990 - moved back to Michigan. Worked as photo-retouching artist for Talbot Studios in Ann Arbor.
1991 - Joined band in Detroit/ met husband (guitar player/computer engineer.
1992 - Got Married - moved to Detroit. Started my first business - P...Expand for more
hotographic Art Services.
1996 - moved to Portland, OR
2000 - moved to San Jose, CA Birth of daughter Samantha.
2001 - Back to school for Massage Therapy Certificate. Begin concept for new business - The Mommy Spa.
2007 - After years of renting space in various clinics, The Mommy Spa opens as free standing business in Los Gatos, CA.
2008 - Successfully craft a "child centered - friendly divorce." Enter the world of Internet Dating! YIKES!
Back to singing - currently working with Pianist Dave Samuels (former member of Dionne Warwick's band)
